Overview

Global Village Children's Project is a nonprofit website designed to support outreach and fundraising for an organization dedicated to assisting vulnerable children and communities.

The project involved designing and implementing a custom website experience using WordPress, Elementor Pro, and the Hello Elementor theme. The goal was to create a visually engaging site while maintaining performance, usability, and maintainability.

The site integrates online donation workflows through the Stripe Api using the GiveWP plugin, enabling secure online contributions.

The site also intergrates social medai platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn and others through those platform's Api.

Site security is achieved through Akeeba Admin Tools suite of server and Wordpress security apps.

Architecture

The site is implemented usingWordPress as the foundation of site functionality along with theElementor Pro Page Builder and the Hello Elementor themeto build custom layouts and page structures that are easy to modify and edit.

Server and Website security is provided thriough the Akeeba Admin Tools suite of security applications.

Donation workflows are implemented using the GiveWP plugin, which integrates with the Stripe Api to process secure online donations.

Elementor Pack Pro was used to provide a carousel of GiveWP Facebook posts on the website. It was aalso used to allow visitors to post a preformed representatoin of any page they are visiting on their own social media pages.

SEO is provided by Rank Math SEO

Email interface was provided by WP Mail SMTP.
